How to measure

Tools: soft measuring tape, flat surface and a pen to note numbers. We recommend measuring a similar pair you already own and comparing those numbers to the product measurements.

Measuring the garment (recommended)

1. Lay the shorts flat on a table and smooth out all wrinkles and folds.
2. Waist: Measure straight across the top of the waistband from seam to seam. Double that number to get the full waist circumference.
3. Hip: Measure straight across the fullest part of the shorts (about 1"–2" below the crotch seam). Double to get hip circumference.
4. Front rise: Measure from the crotch seam up to the top edge of the front waistband.
5. Inseam: Measure from the crotch seam down the inner leg to the hem.
6. Outseam / Total length: Measure from the top of the waistband down the side seam to the bottom hem.
7. Thigh: Measure straight across the leg about 1" below the crotch seam and double for circumference.

Measuring your body

1. Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your torso. Keep the tape snug but not tight.
2. Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips/buttocks with feet together.
3. Inseam: Measure from the crotch to the desired hem or use a pair of shorts you like and measure their inseam.

Tip: Flat garment measurements need to be doubled to compare to body circumference. If you sit between sizes, choose the larger size for a more comfortable fit; for a compressive fit, size down only if you prefer a tighter feel.
