How to measure

Measure your body (to choose the right size)

1. Chest/Bust: Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your chest, under your armpits and across your shoulder blades. Keep the tape parallel to the floor. Record the measurement with a relaxed posture.
2. Shoulder width: Measure from the outer edge of one shoulder bone to the outer edge of the other, across the back.
3. Sleeve length: Measure from the center back of your neck, across the top of the shoulder, down to the wrist bone (for a full-sleeve length). Alternatively, measure from the shoulder seam to the wrist if following garment measurements.
4. Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your torso (natural waist).
5. Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips while standing with feet together.
6. Height and desired layering: If you plan to wear thicker layers under the jacket, add extra room when choosing a size.

1. Lay the jacket flat on a table with the front zipped and smooth out wrinkles but do not stretch the fabric.
2. Chest / Pit-to-pit: Measure straight across the front 1 inch (2–3 cm) below the armhole seam. Double this number to get chest circumference.
3. Shoulder width: Measure straight across the top from one shoulder seam to the other.
4. Sleeve length: Measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. (If the sleeve is set-in and the shoulder seam is indistinct, measure from the center back neck to cuff and subtract the center-back-to-shoulder distance.)
5. Back length: Measure from the base of the collar (center back) straight down to the hem.
6. Hem width: Measure straight across the bottom hem and double to get the circumference.
7. How to use these numbers: Compare the garment chest circumference to your body chest measurement. Recommended ease: ~2" (5 cm) for a fitted look, ~4" (10 cm) for a regular/comfortable layer, 6"+ (15+ cm) for oversized layering.
8. Conversion: 1 in = 2.54 cm.
