How to measure

To ensure the best fit, measure yourself or the garment with a soft measuring tape. For body measurements, stand naturally and measure over light clothing. For garment measurements, lay the dress flat on a smooth surface and measure straight across — double where noted to get the full circumference.

Body measurements (for choosing a size)

• Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the floor. Relax your arms at your sides.
• Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your torso (natural waist), usually above the belly button. Keep the tape comfortably snug.
• Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks, about 20 cm / 8" below the waist. Keep the tape parallel.
• Shoulder-to-hem (length): Measure from the high point of the shoulder (next to the base of the neck) down to where you want the hem to sit.

Garment measurements (laid flat)

• Chest (flat): Measure 2.5 cm / 1" below the armhole across the front; multiply by 2 for circumference.
• Waist (flat): Measure across the narrowest point of the dress; multiply by 2.
• Hip (flat): Measure across the fullest point near the hem; multiply by 2.
• Center back length: From the high point of shoulder (neck seam) to the hem.
• Slit height: Measure from the hem up to the top edge of the side slit.
• Hem width: Measure straight across the hem and multiply by 2 for full circumference.

Tip: Compare these garment measurements to a dress you own that fits well. Allow 2–5 cm / 1–2" ease depending on how fitted you like your dresses; if between sizes, choose the larger for comfort.

Materials & fabric

Typical composition: 95% viscose, 5% elastane (soft jersey knit). The fabric provides a drapey, breathable hand with light stretch for comfort. Lining: none.

• Fabric characteristics: Soft drape, breathable, gentle recovery from elastane, may show light wrinkles when crushed.
• Stripe care: Dark or saturated stripes can release excess dye on first wash—wash inside out with similar colours.

Care guide (to keep it lovely longer)

• Check care label first. If the label indicates dry clean only, follow that instruction.
• Machine wash cold (30°C / 86°F) on a gentle cycle or hand wash. Turn the dress inside out to protect colours and stripes.
• Wash with similar colours. Use a mild detergent; avoid bleach and harsh stain removers.
• Place the dress in a mesh laundry bag for machine washes to reduce friction and snagging.
• Do not tumble dry—reshape and dry flat or hang to dry away from direct sunlight to prevent fading and protect elastane.
• Iron on low heat on the reverse side or use a steamer to remove wrinkles; avoid hot irons on elastic areas and trims.
• Spot-treat stains gently and test any stain remover on an inside seam first.
• Store on a shaped hanger to avoid shoulder distortion, or fold neatly. Remove pills gently with a fabric shaver if needed.
