How to measure

Measure the garment (recommended)

• Lay the shorts flat on a hard surface and smooth out any wrinkles. Fasten the button/zipper.
• Waist: measure straight across the top from one side seam to the other; double that number to get the full waist circumference.
• Hips: measure across the shorts at the widest point (typically 1–2" / 2.5–5 cm below the crotch seam); double for the circumference.
• Front rise: measure from the crotch seam (where the front and back seams meet) up to the top of the waistband.
• Inseam: measure from the crotch seam down the inner leg to the bottom of the hem.
• Thigh: measure 1" (2.5 cm) below the crotch across the leg opening; double for full thigh circumference.
• Hem width: measure across the bottom hem and double for the full opening circumference.
• Total length: measure from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the hem along the side seam.
• Record measurements in both inches and centimeters for easy comparison with your body measurements.

Measure your body

• Waist: measure around the narrowest part of your torso (natural waistline), keeping the tape comfortably snug.
• Hips: measure around the fullest part of your hips/buttocks while standing with feet together.
• Thigh: measure around the fullest part of one thigh.
• Rise preference: measure from the crotch up to where you want the waistband to sit (low, mid, or high rise).
• Compare your body measurements to the garment’s laid-flat (doubled) measurements to choose the best size. If between sizes, size up for a relaxed fit or down for a more fitted look.

Care guide — to keep it lovely longer

• Wash less often to preserve color and denim character; spot-clean when possible.
• Turn shorts inside out before washing to protect the wash and the raw hem.

• Use a mild detergent; avoid bleach and harsh detergents that strip color and fibers.
• To protect the raw hem from excessive tangling, place shorts in a mesh laundry bag or wash with similar-weight items.
