How to Measure

Measure your body (to choose a size)

• Bust: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level across your back. Breathe normally — the tape should be snug but not tight.
• Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist (usually above the belly button). Keep the tape relaxed.
• Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks with feet together.
• Height/Length preference: If you need a specific dress length (maxi vs. ankle), measure from the top of your shoulder down to where you want the hem to fall.
• In-between sizes: If your measurements fall between sizes, choose based on bust measurement for fitted styles or waist/hips for waist-defining styles. For a roomier, flowy maxi, size up for extra ease.

Measure the garment (product measurements we provide)

• Chest / Bust (laid flat): Lay the dress flat, smooth wrinkles, measure straight across 1" (2–3 cm) below the armholes. Multiply this number by 2 for the full circumference.
• Waist (laid flat): Measure across the narrowest part of the dress when laid flat and double that number.
• Hip (laid flat): Measure across the fullest part of the skirt/hip area and double.
• Front length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (where shoulder seam meets neckline) straight down to the hem.
• Strap length / Drop: Measure from the top of the shoulder where the strap meets the garment down to the neckline point (or from strap end if adjustable).
• Tolerance: Allow for +/- 1–3 cm (0.5–1") variation due to fabric stretch and manufacturing.

Materials & Fabric Details

Check the garment label for the exact fabric composition. Below are common materials used for printed scoop-neck maxi cami dresses and what to expect from each:

• Viscose / Rayon: Soft with excellent drape and a fluid silhouette; breathable but can shrink if washed in hot water—handle gently.

Care Guide (to keep it lovely longer)

• Read the label first: Always follow the care symbols on the garment tag—they override general advice.
• Wash: Prefer cold water and a gentle cycle or hand wash. Turn the dress inside out to protect the print and reduce abrasion.
• Detergent: Use a mild, color-safe detergent. Avoid bleach and harsh stain removers unless the label allows it.
• Dry: Air-dry flat or hang to dry away from direct sunlight to prevent fading. Avoid high-heat tumble drying (heat can shrink viscose and damage stretch fibers).
