How to measure

Measuring the garment (lay flat)

• Center back length — Lay the cover-up flat. Measure from the base of the neck (center back seam) straight down to the hem.
• Bust (flat) — Measure across the garment 1" (2.5 cm) below the armhole, seam to seam. Multiply that number by 2 to get the full bust circumference.
• Shoulder width — Measure straight across the back from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. For kimono-style pieces without a defined seam, measure from the neckline to the sleeve edge as needed.
• Sleeve length — Measure from the shoulder seam to the sleeve hem. For loose or kimono sleeves, measure from the neckline seam to the sleeve edge.
• Hem width — Measure across the bottom edge seam to seam and multiply by 2 for full hem circumference.
• Pocket (flat) — Measure pocket width and depth from seam to seam to show usable pocket size.
• Front opening width — Measure across the front opening when the garment is laid flat to indicate coverage when worn open.
• Tip — Use a soft tape measure, place the garment on a flat surface, do not stretch fabric while measuring. Record both inches and centimeters.

Measuring your body (to choose the right fit)

• Bust — Measure around the fullest part of your chest with the tape level.
• Waist — Measure at the narrowest point of your torso.
• Hips — Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
• Fit guidance — Compare your body measurements to the garment measurements above. For layering over swimwear or bulky pieces, allow 1–2" (2.5–5 cm) extra ease.

• Main fabric — Lightweight semi-sheer chiffon, 100% polyester (soft drape, quick-drying).
• Trim — Polyester bias binding at hems and opening for clean edges.
• Lining — Unlined (sheer). For more coverage, wear over a swimsuit or slip.

• Fit notes: Relaxed, open-front silhouette. On the model this cover-up falls to approximately mid-thigh; adjust size for more or less coverage.

Care guide (to keep it lovely longer)

• Hand wash cold or machine wash on a gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag.
• Use a mild detergent; avoid bleach and harsh chemicals that can fade prints.
• Wash with like colors and avoid heavy or abrasive items (zippers, denim) that can snag the fabric.
• Do not wring. Gently squeeze out excess water and reshape while damp.
• Line dry in the shade to prevent fading and maintain shape. Avoid tumble drying.
• If needed, use a cool iron on the reverse side or remove wrinkles with a steamer at a safe distance.
• Store on a wide hanger or folded; avoid thin wire hangers that can stretch the shoulder area.
• Avoid prolonged contact with rough surfaces or sharp jewelry; if a small pull appears, gently ease the fabric back into place rather than cutting threads.
