How to measure
Use a soft measuring tape and measure over light layers or underwear. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and comfortably snug (not tight).
- Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust, across the shoulder blades and under the arms.
- Waist: Measure at your natural waist — the narrowest point between ribs and hips. Bend to find the crease if unsure.
- Hips: Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat.
- High point shoulder (HPS) to hem: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (next to the base of the neck) straight down to where you want the hem to fall — this gives dress length.
- Shoulder width (optional): Measure across the back from shoulder point to shoulder point.
- Garment flat measurements: Lay the dress flat on a smooth surface. Measure across the bust (armpit to armpit), waist and hips, then multiply those flat measurements by 2 to get approximate circumferences.
