How to measure

To choose the right size we recommend measuring either a similar pair of pants you already own (garment measurement) or your body. Use a soft measuring tape and record measurements in centimetres or inches (1 in = 2.54 cm). When measuring a garment laid flat, multiply across measurements by 2 to get full circumferences.

Measuring the garment (lay flat — recommended)

1. Waist: Lay the waistband flat and smooth. Measure straight across from left to right at the top edge of the waistband. Multiply by 2 for full waist circumference.
2. Hips / Seat: Measure across the fullest part of the seat (the widest point of the pants below the crotch seam). Multiply by 2.
3. Front rise: From the top center of the front waistband down to the crotch seam.
4. Back rise: From the top center of the back waistband down to the crotch seam.
5. Thigh: Measure across the pant 2–3 cm (about 1 in) below the crotch seam at the widest point of the thigh. Multiply by 2.
6. Inseam: From the crotch seam down the inside leg to the bottom hem.
7. Outseam / Full length: From the top edge of the waistband down the outside seam to the hem.
8. Leg opening / Hem width: Measure straight across the bottom hem. Multiply by 2 for full circumference.

Measuring your body

• Natural waist: Wrap the tape measure around the narrowest part of your torso (where you bend). Keep the tape snug but not tight.
• Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat with feet together.
• Inseam: Measure from the crotch to the floor (or to ankle if you want ankle-length). Measure wearing the shoes you intend to pair with the pants for the most accurate length.
• Thigh: Measure around the fullest part of the upper thigh.

Fit guidance: To compare body measurements to a garment, add desired ease. Typical ease for wide-leg pants is generous — allow approximately 6–12 cm (2.5–5 in) at the hip for a roomy, flowing silhouette. If you prefer a more tailored look, choose a smaller ease.
