How to measure
Use a soft measuring tape and a flat surface. Lay the garment flat without stretching the fabric. Record measurements in both cm and inches (1 in = 2.54 cm).
- Chest (flat): Smooth the shirt, then measure straight across the front 2.5 cm (1") below the armhole from side seam to side seam. Double this number to get the full chest circumference.
- Body length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (next to the collar seam) straight down to the bottom hem.
- Sleeve length: Two common methods:
- From center back neck to end of sleeve (common for full-sleeve garments), or
- From shoulder seam to sleeve cuff (used by some size charts). Check which method your size chart uses and be consistent.
