How to measure
Tools: a flexible tape measure. For best results either measure a favourite T‑shirt laid flat (recommended) or take measurements directly on your body. When measuring a garment laid flat, double the flat measurements for circumference values.
- Chest (A): Garment flat — measure across the chest 1" (2.5 cm) below the armholes from side seam to side seam, then double for full circumference. Body — measure around the fullest part of your chest under the arms with the tape parallel to the floor.
- Body length (B): From the highest point of the shoulder (where the collar meets the shoulder seam) straight down to the hem.
- Shoulder width (C): From shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the top of the back.
- Sleeve length (D): From the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve.
- Hem width (E): Measure straight across the bottom edge and double for circumference.
- Neck circumference: Measure around the base of the neck; for garment measurement flatten the collar and measure across, then double.
