How to measure

Use these steps to choose the right size or to measure an existing tank. Take measurements in inches or centimeters; keep the tape snug but not tight and measure over a thin layer of clothing or underwear.

Measure your body (for best fit)

1. Chest: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under the armpits and across the shoulder blades. Keep your arms relaxed at your sides.
2. Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your torso (natural waist), usually just above the belly button.
3. Hips: With feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
4. Shoulder width: Measure from the outer edge of one shoulder to the outer edge of the other across the back.
5. Torso length: From the high point of the shoulder (next to the neck) straight down to where you want the tank to end.

Measure a garment (flat)

1. Lay the tank flat on a table, smoothing but not stretching the fabric.
2. Chest (flat): Measure straight across from one underarm seam to the other; multiply by two to get circumference.
3. Hem (flat): Measure straight across the bottom hem; multiply by two for circumference.
4. Length: Measure from the high point of the shoulder to the bottom hem along the front.
5. Shoulder: Measure across the back from seam to seam.

Fit guidance: Add about 2–4 inches (5–10 cm) to your chest measurement for a regular fit; 0–2 inches for a snug/fitted look; 4+ inches for a relaxed fit. If you are between sizes, choose the larger size for comfort.
