How to Measure

Measuring the garment (recommended)

Lay the shirt flat on a smooth surface and smooth out wrinkles (do not stretch). Measure straight across and record measurements in inches or centimetres. For circumference values, multiply the flat measurement by 2.

• Chest (Pit to Pit) — Measure from one underarm seam to the other. Double this value for full chest circumference.
• Shoulder Width — Measure from shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back.
• Sleeve Length — Measure from the shoulder seam down to the end of the cuff.
• Shirt Length — Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (next to the collar seam) straight down to the bottom hem.
• Hem Width — Measure straight across the bottom hem and double for full hem circumference.
• Neck / Collar — Measure across the inside of the collar (or around the collar opening) and double if needed for circumference.

Example: Pit-to-pit 26" → chest circumference ≈ 52". When comparing to your body measurements, allow 1–4" (2.5–10 cm) extra for comfort depending on desired fit.

Measuring yourself (to choose a size)

• Chest — Measure around the fullest part of your chest with arms relaxed at your sides. Keep the tape parallel to the floor.
• Neck — Measure around the base of your neck where a collar would sit.
• Sleeve — With arm slightly bent, measure from the center back of your neck across the shoulder to the wrist.

Fit tip: If you prefer a relaxed look or if you’re between sizes, choose the larger size. Printed fabrics and cotton blends can shrink slightly after the first wash — allow for this when selecting a size.
