How to measure (so you pick the best fit)

Use a soft tailor's measuring tape. Measure over light clothing or underwear, keep the tape level and relaxed (not pulled tight). Record measurements in inches or cm (1 in = 2.54 cm).

Measure your body

1. Chest/Chest circumference: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under the armpits and across the shoulder blades. Breathe normally, do not puff out the chest. This is the most important measurement for T-shirts.
2. Shoulder width: Measure across the back from the outer edge of one shoulder to the outer edge of the other (seam to seam on a well-fitting shirt).

4. Sleeve length (short sleeve): From the shoulder seam down to the end of the sleeve.
5. Waist and hip (optional): Measure around the natural waist and fullest part of the hips if you want to check overall proportions with other clothing.

Measure a t-shirt you already own (recommended)

Lay the tee flat on a table and smooth wrinkles. Measure and then double widths where required to get circumferences:

• Chest (pit to pit): Measure straight across from one underarm seam to the other, then multiply by 2 to get chest circumference.
• Shoulder: Measure across the back from seam to seam.
• Length: Measure from the highest shoulder point (HSP) to the bottom hem.
• Sleeve: Measure from shoulder seam to sleeve end.
• Hem width: Measure across the bottom hem and multiply by 2 for circumference.

Materials & construction — what to expect

• 100% Cotton (often ring-spun): Soft, breathable and comfortable. Good for printing; may shrink slightly (1–4%) if washed hot. Feels soft and natural.
• Cotton / Polyester blends (e.g., 60/40, 50/50): More dimensionally stable (less shrinkage), dries faster, often retains color longer and resists wrinkles.
• Cotton / Elastane (e.g., 95/5): Adds stretch and recovery for a more forgiving fit and better shape retention.

• Do not dry clean if the product label advises against it; many printed tees are not suitable for dry cleaning.

• Store folded rather than hung long-term to avoid shoulder stretching on heavier tees; for lightweight tees, gentle hanging is OK.
