How to measure
Use a soft measuring tape. For best results, measure your body while wearing a thin layer or measure a well-fitting shirt laid flat. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and relaxed — not pulled tight.
- Neck: Measure around the base of your neck where a collar would sit. Leave one finger between the tape and your neck for comfort.
- Chest / Bust (Body): Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under the armpits and across the shoulder blades. Keep arms relaxed at your sides.
- Chest (Garment): Lay the shirt flat, fully buttoned. Measure across 1" (2.5 cm) below the armholes from seam to seam and multiply by 2 to get the garment chest circumference.
- Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your torso. For the garment, lay flat and measure across the narrowest point, then double.
- Hip: Measure around the fullest part of the hips. For the garment, measure flat across the hem and double.
- Shoulder (Point-to-Point): Measure across the back from the outside of one shoulder seam to the outside of the other shoulder seam.
- Sleeve (Short Sleeve): Measure from the shoulder seam to the sleeve hem for short sleeves. For an overall sleeve length, measure from the center back at the base of the neck, across the shoulder to the sleeve end.
