How to measure

Two helpful approaches: measure your body to pick the right size, or measure a pair of shorts you already own to compare with the product measurements.

Body measurements (to choose a size)

1. Waist: Wrap the tape measure around the point where you usually wear your shorts (natural waist or where the waistband sits). Keep the tape snug but not tight.
2. Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat with feet together.
3. Thigh: Measure around the fullest part of the upper thigh (about 1" / 2–3 cm below the crotch).
4. Inseam: Measure from the crotch to where you want the short hem to fall (use a pair you like as a reference).

Tip: If you fall between sizes, choose the larger size for more comfort—especially with a drawstring/elastic waistband.

Garment measurements (to compare to size chart)

1. Lay the shorts flat: Zip/button and smooth but do not stretch the fabric.
2. Waist (flat): Measure straight across the top of the waistband and multiply by 2 to get the full circumference. For elastic/drawstring, note both relaxed and stretched measurements.
3. Hip (flat): Measure across the shorts about 1" (2–3 cm) below the crotch seam and multiply by 2.
4. Thigh (flat): Measure across the leg 1" (2–3 cm) below the crotch and multiply by 2.
5. Inseam: Measure from the crotch seam down the inside leg to the hem.
6. Outseam: Measure from the top of the waistband to the hem along the outside seam.
7. Front/Back rise: Measure from the top of the waistband to the crotch seam (front and back separately if needed).
