How to measure

Use both body measurements and a flat garment measurement to find the best fit. Always compare your measurements to the product size chart when available.

Measure your body (use a soft measuring tape)

1. Waist: Measure around the natural waistline or where you normally wear the shorts. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and relaxed — don't hold your breath. Record in inches or centimeters.
2. Hips: Measure at the fullest part of your hips and seat with feet together.
3. Thigh: Measure around the fullest part of one thigh.
4. Desired length: Measure from the crotch down to where you want the hem to sit (this helps choose the inseam).

Measure a pair of shorts that fits you well (lay flat)

1. Waist (flat): Lay shorts flat, smooth waistband (do not stretch). Measure across waistband from side to side and double that number for waist circumference.
2. Waist (stretched): If the waistband is elastic, also measure fully stretched to understand the usable range.
3. Inseam: Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the hem along the inside seam.
4. Front rise: Measure from the crotch seam to the top of the waistband on the front.
5. Outseam / total length: Measure from the top of the waistband down the outside seam to the hem.
6. Thigh width (flat): Measure 1" (2.5 cm) below the crotch seam across the leg and double for circumference.

Fit guidance: For relaxed comfort allow ~2–4" (5–10 cm) of ease in waist and hips; for a roomier fit add 4–6" (10–15 cm). If between sizes, choose the larger size for comfort or the smaller for a snugger look.
