Use a flexible tape measure. For best results measure over lightweight clothing or underwear and keep the tape parallel to the floor.
Body measurements (to choose the right size)
- Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms. Keep the tape snug but not tight.
- Shoulder width: Measure across the back from one shoulder bone to the other (seam to seam on a well-fitting shirt).
- Sleeve length: From the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve (for short sleeves, measure to the hem).
- Neck: Around the base of the neck where a shirt collar would sit.
