How to measure

To choose the best size, measure the garment laid flat on a table. Smooth out wrinkles but do not stretch the fabric. Below are the standard points to measure — record the flat measurement and, where indicated, multiply by 2 to get the full circumference.

• Chest: Measure across the front from armpit seam to armpit seam. Multiply that number by 2 for the full chest circumference (e.g., 20" flat = 40" / 51 cm flat = 102 cm).
• Shoulder: Measure straight across from one shoulder seam to the other shoulder seam.
• Sleeve length: Measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. For raglan or drop-shoulder styles, measure from the center back of the neck to the cuff for total sleeve length.
• Back length: Measure from the center back of the neckline down to the hem.
• Hem width: Measure across the bottom hem from seam to seam and multiply by 2 for the circumference.

Tip: If measuring your body instead of a garment, measure the fullest part of your chest and allow 2–4 inches (5–10 cm) of ease for comfortable layering. Knit garments can have natural stretch and may vary slightly by ±1" (2–3 cm).

Model information & fit

Our model is 6'1" (185 cm) with a 38" (97 cm) chest and is wearing a size M. The cardigan is designed with a regular/true-to-size fit.

Fit advice: Choose your usual size for a standard fit. If you prefer a roomier, layered look, consider sizing up one size. For a more fitted silhouette, size down.

Care guide (to keep it lovely longer)

1. Turn the cardigan inside out and zip up before washing to protect the stripe detail and zipper.
2. Machine wash cold (max 30°C / 86°F) on a gentle/delicate cycle or hand wash. Use a mild detergent.
3. Avoid bleach and skip fabric softeners — they can break down fibers and affect texture.
4. Do not wring. Gently press out excess water and reshape while damp.
5. Lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Do not tumble dry to prevent distortion and shrinkage.
6. If needed, cool iron on the reverse side or use a steamer. Avoid high heat on elastane content or decorative stripes.
7. For snags, carefully trim the loose thread with small scissors instead of pulling. Use a fabric shaver for light pilling.
8. Store folded rather than hanging for long periods to prevent shoulder stretching; if hanging, use wide, supportive hangers.

Optional: professional dry cleaning is safe for delicate finishes, but following the gentle wash method above will keep the cardigan looking fresh and help preserve the mesh texture.
