How to measure
To choose the best size, measure a t‑shirt you already own that fits how you want this oversized tee to fit. Lay the garment flat on a smooth surface and smooth out wrinkles before measuring. Use a flexible tape measure and record both centimetres (cm) and inches (in).
- Chest (pit‑to‑pit): Measure straight across the front from one underarm seam to the other. Double that number for full chest circumference. (e.g. 50 cm across = 100 cm chest)
- Body length (HPS): Measure from the highest point of the shoulder at the base of the neck (HPS) straight down to the bottom hem.
- Shoulder width: Measure from shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back. For dropped‑shoulder styles measure seam‑to‑seam as placed on the garment.
- Sleeve length: Measure from the shoulder seam to the sleeve hem. For raglan/dropped shoulders you can measure from the center back neck to the sleeve hem for a total sleeve length reference.
- Hem / Bottom width: Measure straight across the bottom hem and double for circumference.
- Neck opening: Measure across the collar opening (flat) and double for circumference or measure around the inside of the collar.
Fit guidance: For an oversized drape add approximately 8–15 cm (3–6 in) of ease to your body chest measurement. For a relaxed look add 4–8 cm (2–3 in). Always compare your garment measurements to the product size chart before ordering.
Materials & construction
Typical fabrics and what to expect:
- 100% combed ring‑spun cotton – soft, breathable and comfortable; holds prints well; may shrink slightly (2–5%) on first wash.
- Cotton / Polyester blends (e.g. 60/40, 65/35) – improved dimensional stability, faster drying, and less shrinkage; slightly smoother hand.
- Cotton / Elastane (e.g. 95/5) – adds gentle stretch and recovery for comfort, often used in ribbed collars.
- Fabric weight (GSM) – oversized tees are commonly midweight (160–220 g/m²) for structure without being heavy; lighter tees are 120–160 g/m².
- Lettering & prints – screen‑print, water‑based inks, heat transfer/vinyl or embroidery. Each finish has specific care (avoid high heat on transfers; iron inside out).
Note: trims such as ribbed collars usually include a small % of elastane for shape. Check the product label or product details for exact composition and any sustainability certifications (e.g. GOTS, OEKO‑TEX, organic cotton).
Model & fit
Fit description: This is an oversized silhouette with dropped shoulders, a boxier body and a slightly longer length compared to a regular tee.
Reference (example used in product imagery): Model height approx. 185–188 cm (6'1"–6'2"), chest ~97–99 cm (38–39"), wearing size L for an intentional oversized look. Use this as a visual guide—refer to the size chart and garment measurements to match your preferred fit.
Sizing tip: For a similar oversized look, choose your usual size or one size up. To reduce overall volume while keeping the boxy silhouette, size down one.
Care guide — to keep it lovely longer
- Wash inside out on a gentle cycle with cold or warm water (≤30°C / 85°F) to protect color and prints.
- Use a mild detergent and wash with like colors. Avoid bleach and strong detergents.
- Avoid fabric softener for printed finishes; it can reduce print longevity.
- Reshape while damp and dry flat or hang to dry away from direct sunlight to prevent fading and shrinkage. Tumble dry on low only if the garment label allows.
- Iron inside out on low to medium heat. Do not iron directly on printed areas or transfers.
- For stains treat promptly: blot oil stains with liquid detergent, avoid aggressive scrubbing on prints. Test stain removers on an inconspicuous area first.
- Store folded rather than on thin wire hangers to avoid shoulder distortion; avoid overcrowding in the closet.
- Expect a small amount of initial shrinkage with natural fibers—prewash guidance is on the product label.

- Hipomarket will email you after return has been processed to confirm what has been done.
