How to measure
Use a flexible tape measure. Take measurements on bare skin or over a thin layer for best fit. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and comfortable (not tight).
Body measurements (to choose a size)
- Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms and across the shoulder blades. Breathe normally.
- Waist: Measure at your natural waistline (narrowest point) with the tape snug but not tight.
- Shoulder width: Measure from the outer edge of one shoulder to the other across the back.
- Sleeve length: With your arm relaxed at your side, measure from the high point of the shoulder (where shoulder meets neck) to the wrist.
- Body length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (next to the collar) straight down to the hem.
Garment measurements (to compare with an existing cardigan)
- Flat chest (pit-to-pit): Lay the cardigan flat, zip closed, measure 1–2 cm below the armholes from seam to seam and double the number for full chest width.
- Shoulder width (seam to seam): Measure across the back from one shoulder seam to the other.
- Sleeve (seam to cuff): Measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.
- Body length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (HPS) down to the hem with the garment laid flat.
- Hood depth: Measure from the back neck seam to the front edge of the hood (when laid flat).
Tip: Compare your body measurements with the garment measurements for the intended fit (close-fitting vs. layer-friendly). If between sizes, size up for layering comfort.
Materials & feel

Care Guide (to keep it lovely longer)
- Always check the care label first — follow any specific instructions on the garment tag.
- Close the zipper and turn the cardigan inside out before washing to protect the surface and zipper.
- Machine wash cold on a gentle or knit cycle with mild detergent, or hand wash if the label recommends it.
- Avoid bleach and fabric softeners (they can affect fibers and finishes).
- Do not wring. Gently reshape while damp and lay flat to dry on a towel to prevent stretching; avoid hanging wet knits.
- Avoid tumble drying; heat can shrink or damage knit fibers.
- Iron on low heat if necessary — preferably with a press cloth; steam is often enough to remove creases.
