How to measure
Measure the garment (lay flat)
- Lay the T‑shirt flat on a hard surface and smooth out wrinkles; do not stretch the fabric.
- Chest (pit to pit): Measure straight across 1–1.5 cm (about ½") below the armholes from seam to seam. Multiply this number by 2 for the full chest circumference.
- Shoulder width: Measure from shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back.
- Length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (next to the collar) straight down to the bottom hem.
- Sleeve length (half sleeve): Measure from the shoulder seam to the sleeve hem.
- Hem width: Measure across the bottom hem from edge to edge and multiply by 2 for full circumference.
Quick example: if chest (lay‑flat) = 20 in → chest circumference ≈ 40 in (20 in × 2).

- Chest: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under the armpits and across the shoulder blades. Keep tape level and relaxed.
