How to measure

Use a soft tape measure. Measure to the nearest 0.5 cm / 1/8". Two common methods are described below: measure your body to choose a size, or measure a garment flat to record product dimensions.

Body measurements (to select size)

1. Chest: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under the armpits. Keep the tape level and comfortable. Record the full circumference.
2. Shoulder width: Measure across your back from the outer edge of one shoulder to the outer edge of the other at the seam line.
3. Length: From the highest point of the shoulder (next to the collar) down to where you want the hem to sit.
4. Sleeve length: From the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve.
5. Neck circumference: If needed, measure around the base of the neck.

Garment (flat) measurements — how we measure the product

1. Lay the T‑shirt flat on a hard surface and smooth wrinkles without stretching the fabric.
2. Chest (flat): Measure straight across from armpit seam to armpit seam and multiply by 2 for full circumference.
3. Shoulder width: Measure across the back from shoulder seam to shoulder seam.
4. Body length: From the highest point of the shoulder (next to the collar seam) straight down to the hem.
5. Sleeve length: From shoulder seam to sleeve end.
6. Hem width: Measure across the bottom hem and multiply by 2.

Fit tip: allow 2–4 cm (¾–1½") extra for a comfortable fit, or 0–2 cm for a closer/athletic fit.

Materials

Common fabric options for a basic short‑sleeve T‑shirt:

• 100% combed ring‑spun cotton — soft, breathable and comfortable for everyday wear.
• 95% cotton / 5% elastane (spandex) — adds light stretch for improved mobility and shape retention.
• Cotton/polyester blends (e.g. 50/50) — more durable, quicker drying and less prone to shrinkage.

Care Guide (to keep it lovely longer)

• Wash inside out with similar colors on a gentle cycle at 30°C (86°F) to preserve color and surface finish.
• Use mild detergent. Avoid bleach and strong chemicals.
• Avoid fabric softeners on elastic or printed garments—they can reduce longevity of stretch and prints.
• Tumble dry on low or, preferably, reshape and hang/lay flat to dry to reduce shrinkage and maintain shape.
• Iron inside out on low/medium heat; do not iron directly over prints or appliqué.
• Do not dry clean unless the label explicitly allows it.
• Store folded rather than hung for long periods to prevent shoulder stretching.
