High Waist Active Shorts

How to measure

Measure your body

• Waist: Wrap a soft measuring tape around the narrowest part of your torso (natural waist) or where you want the high waistband to sit (typically 2–3" / 5–7 cm above the navel). Keep the tape snug but not tight.
• Hips: Measure around the fullest part of the hips/buttocks with feet together.
• Thigh: Measure around the largest part of the upper thigh while standing relaxed.
• Inseam: Measure from the crotch along the inside leg to the hem (or measure a pair of shorts you already own that fit how you like).
• Rise: Front rise — from the top of the waistband at center front to the crotch seam; back rise — from top of waistband at center back to the crotch seam.

Measure a garment (recommended)

• Lay the shorts flat on a smooth surface and smooth out wrinkles.
• Waist (flat): Measure across the top of the waistband from one side to the other; multiply by two to get the circumference. For elastic waistbands, measure both unstretched and fully stretched to understand the range.
• Hip (flat): Measure across the shorts at the fullest part of the seat (usually ~3–4" / 7–10 cm below the waistband); multiply by two.
• Inseam: Measure from the crotch seam down the inside leg to the hem.
• Outseam: Measure from the top of the waistband down the outside leg to the hem.
• Thigh (flat): Measure across the leg 1–2" (2.5–5 cm) below the crotch seam and multiply by two.

Fit guidance: Compare your body measurements to the garment measurements. For a compressive performance fit, choose a size where the garment measurements are roughly equal to or 1–2" (2.5–5 cm) smaller than your body measurements. For a more relaxed fit, choose a size equal to or 1–2" larger. If you're between sizes, size up for comfort or size down for a firmer, more secure fit.

Care Guide (to keep it lovely longer)

• Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors.
• Turn shorts inside out before washing to protect the outer finish and any logos/prints.
• Use a mild, liquid detergent; avoid bleach and fabric softener (softeners break down stretch fibers and reduce moisture-wicking).
• Tumble dry low or, preferably, lay flat or hang to dry out of direct sunlight to preserve elasticity and color.
• Do not iron; avoid dry cleaning.
• Rinse promptly after exposure to chlorine or salt water.
