How to measure

Tools: flexible measuring tape, flat surface, mirror or helper. Measure while wearing light clothing for body measurements, and measure the garment laid flat for product measurements.

Measure your body (to pick the right size)

• Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your torso (natural waist). Keep the tape snug but not tight.
• Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
• Inseam: Measure from the crotch seam down to where you want the hem to sit (ankle or floor).
• Rise: For fit preference, measure from the center front waistband down through the crotch to the center back waistband (or compare front rise to product spec).
• Thigh: Measure around the fullest part of your thigh.

Measure the garment (laid flat)

Lay the pants flat on a smooth surface. Smooth the fabric without stretching.

Waist (laid flat)

Measure straight across the top of the waistband. Double this number to get the waist circumference. For drawstring styles, measure both relaxed (untied) and lightly stretched (drawstring pulled) to get min/max range.

Hip

Measure straight across about 8–10 cm (3–4 in) below the crotch seam; double for full circumference.

Front rise

Measure from the crotch seam to the top of the front waistband.

Back rise

Measure from the crotch seam to the top of the back waistband.

Inseam

Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg hem.

Thigh

Measure across the leg 2–3 cm (about 1 in) below the crotch seam; double this measurement for circumference.

Leg opening

Measure across the hem and double for circumference.

Total length (outseam)

Measure from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the hem.

Tip: Double flat measurements to compare with body circumferences. Allow for ±1–3 cm (0.5–1 in) tolerance depending on fabric stretch and finish.

Materials

Exact composition varies by style—please check the product label for the precise fiber content. Common materials and what to expect:

• 100% Cotton (twill or poplin): breathable, comfortable, holds structure. May shrink slightly—wash cold and tumble low or line dry.
• Linen or Linen Blend: very breathable with natural texture; wrinkles easily and softens with wear. Best gently washed and line dried.
