How to measure — get the perfect fit

Tip: Measure over close‑fitting underwear or a thin layer, stand relaxed and breathe normally. Use a flexible tape measure and record to the nearest 0.5 cm (or 1/4").

Measure your body (for choosing a size)

1. Waist — Measure where you intend the pants to sit (natural waist or slightly below if you wear them low). Wrap the tape level around your waist at that point.
2. Hips — Measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat, keeping the tape level and parallel to the floor.
3. Rise — For body measurement, measure from your front waistline down through your legs (between the legs) to the back waistline if you want the total rise; most product pages list front and/or total rise as garment measurements.
4. Inseam — Measure from the top of your inner thigh (crotch) down to where you want the hem to fall.
5. Thigh — Measure around the fullest point of your thigh (about 2.5–5 cm / 1–2" below the crotch).
6. Hem / Leg Opening — Decide how wide you want the opening; measure around the ankle area where the hem will sit.

Measure a garment that fits you (flat‑lay measurements)

Lay the pants flat on a hard surface, smooth but do not stretch the fabric. Measure across and double where indicated.

Waist (flat)

Measure straight across the top of the waistband from side to side, then double that number.

Hips (flat)

Measure across the pant at about 20–22 cm (8–9") down from the waistband (or at the fullest seat), then double.

Front rise

Measure from the top of the front waistband down to the crotch seam.

Back rise

Measure from the top of the back waistband down to the crotch seam (useful for fit for higher‑rise designs).

Inseam

Measure from the crotch seam down the inside leg to the hem.

Outseam / Total length

Measure from the top of the waistband straight down the outside leg to the hem.

Thigh

Measure across 2.5–5 cm (1–2") below the crotch seam and double.

Hem width

Measure straight across the finished hem and double.

• Viscose / Rayon / Lyocell — soft, fluid drape, comfortable and breathable; can be delicate when wet, handle gently.
• Cotton / Cotton blends — breathable and sturdy; cotton‑linen blends add texture and a cooler feel; cotton with a small % of elastane gives gentle stretch and recovery.
• Linen — very breathable and crisp, natural slubs and more prone to wrinkling (great for relaxed, summery styles).
• Polyester blends — durable, wrinkle‑resistant and often blended for easy care; may feel less breathable than natural fibers.
