How to measure — Fit & size guide

All measurements are taken with the garment lying flat on a smooth surface. Use a soft tape measure and record in inches (in) and/or centimeters (cm). For full circumference measurements (bust, waist, hip), multiply the flat (half) measurement by 2. To convert: 1 in = 2.54 cm.

Joggers

• Waist (relaxed & stretched): Measure the waistband flat, unstretched (relaxed) and again gently fully stretched (stretched). Multiply by 2 for circumference.
• Hip: Measure across 7–9 in (18–23 cm) down from the waist (or at the fullest point) and multiply by 2.
• Front rise: From crotch seam to top of front waistband.
• Inseam: From crotch seam along the inside leg to the ankle hem.
• Outseam: From top of waistband to ankle hem.
• Thigh: Measure 1 in (2.5 cm) below crotch seam across the leg and multiply by 2.
• Knee width: Measure across the knee area (approx. 12 in / 30 cm below crotch) and multiply by 2.
• Leg opening / ankle cuff: Measure across the bottom hem and multiply by 2.

Fit tip: Typical ease allowances — 1–3 in (2.5–7.5 cm) for a close/fitted look; 3–5 in (7.5–12.5 cm) for a relaxed fit. If between sizes, size up for more room or down for a more streamlined fit. For stretch fabrics, compare your body measurement to the garment flat measurement and remember fabric will give with movement.
