Use this quick guide to choose lengths that sit exactly where you want each layer to fall.
- Measure with a soft tape (or string + ruler). Wrap it where you want the top layer to sit (base of neck for a choker look, or just below for a collarbone fit). Note the length in cm.
- For the second layer, add 5–7 cm to your top-layer length for a clean staggered look that avoids tangling.
- If the design includes a drop or pendant, add the pendant/drop length to the chain length to estimate where the lowest point will fall.
- Measuring an existing necklace: lay it flat, close the clasp, and measure end-to-end (do not include any pendant in the chain length).
- Extender chains: if the necklace includes an extender, the shortest fit is “chain length,” the longest fit is “chain length + extender.”

- Last on, first off: put the necklace on after skincare, perfume, and hairspray to protect the pearl and finish.
- Wipe after wear with a soft, lint-free cloth—especially around the pearl and clasp—to remove sweat and oils.
- Avoid direct contact with chemicals (perfume, chlorine, cleaning agents) and high-heat environments (sauna, hot tub).
- Shower-safe for steel alone, but for plated finishes and pearls, remove before swimming, bathing, or vigorous workouts.
