How to measure

Measure your body (to pick the right size)

1. Waist: Measure around your natural waist (the narrowest part of your torso) or at the point you plan to wear the palazzo (high/low). Keep the tape snug but not tight.
2. Hips: With feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips and seat.
3. Inseam: Measure from the crotch along the inside of your leg to the point you want the hem to fall (ankle, floor, cropped).
4. Thigh: Measure around the fullest part of your upper thigh (about 1" / 2.5 cm below the crotch).
5. Rise (for reference): Measure from the top of the front waistband down to the crotch seam (helps determine how high the pants will sit).

Measure the garment (laid flat) — how we usually list measurements

1. Lay the palazzo flat on a smooth surface and smooth out wrinkles without stretching the fabric.
2. Waist (flat): Measure straight across the top of the waistband, then multiply by 2 to get the full circumference. For elastic waistbands, measure unstretched and fully stretched to know the range.
3. Hip (flat): Measure across the fullest part of the seat, multiply by 2 for circumference.
4. Front rise: From the top center of the front waistband down to the crotch seam.
5. Inseam: From the crotch seam to the inside hem.
6. Outseam / Total length: From the top of the waistband to the hem along the outside leg.
7. Thigh & Hem: Measure flat across the thigh 1" below the crotch and across the leg opening; multiply each by 2 for circumference.

• Compare your body measurements to the garment measurements. For fitted feel allow ~0–1" (0–2.5 cm) ease at the waist; for comfortable wear allow ~1–3" (2.5–7.5 cm); for a relaxed, flowy palazzo allow 3"+ (7.5+ cm).
• Because this style often has an elastic waistband, choose based on hip measurement and desired leg volume—if between sizes, size down for a slimmer look or up for more drape.
• If length is critical, check inseam/outseam and compare to your ankle length or preferred pant length.
