How to measure

Use a soft tape measure. Stand naturally (don’t hold your breath) and measure over light undergarments. There are two helpful approaches: measure your body, or measure a similar pair of pants that already fits you well.

Measure your body

• Waist: Measure at your natural waist (the narrowest point). For drawstring pants, also measure where you usually wear pants (low- or mid-rise).
• Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips/butt, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
• Inseam: Measure from the crotch seam down the inside leg to the hem for the length you prefer.
• Front rise: Measure from the crotch seam to the top of the front waistband.
• Thigh: Measure around the fullest part of the thigh, about 1" below the crotch seam.
• Leg opening / Hem: Measure around the bottom opening of the pant leg.

Measure a similar pair of pants (recommended)

• Lay the pants flat on a smooth surface and smooth out any wrinkles.
• Waist (flat): Measure across the waistband from edge to edge. Multiply that number by 2 to get the circumference. For drawstrings, also measure when gently stretched to estimate max circumference.
• Hips (flat): Measure across the fullest part (about 7–9" below waistband) and multiply by 2.
• Inseam: Measure from the crotch seam to the hem along the inside leg.
• Outseam: Measure from the top of the waistband to the hem along the outside leg.
• Thigh & Hem: Measure across the thigh/hem and multiply by 2 for the circumference.

Fit tip: Scuba fabric typically has 4-way stretch and good recovery. When comparing measurements, allow a couple of inches of ease for a relaxed fit. If you’re between sizes, consider sizing up for a roomier fit or down for a more fitted look depending on your preference.

Materials

These pants are made from scuba knit — a double-knit, neoprene-like fabric that offers a smooth finish, light structure and reliable stretch. Typical scuba blends are polyester and spandex (commonly in the range of about 92–96% polyester and 4–8% spandex), though exact fiber content can vary by color and batch. • Feel: Smooth, slightly padded, and substantial without being heavy.
• Stretch: 4-way stretch for freedom of movement and excellent shape retention.
• Coverage: Medium to fully opaque—great for pants where coverage matters.

Care Guide (to keep it lovely longer)

• Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with like colors. Turn pants inside out and secure the drawstring to prevent snags.
• Use a mild detergent. Do not bleach.
• Avoid fabric softeners — they can reduce fabric elasticity over time.
• Wash in a mesh laundry bag for extra protection from abrasion.
• Tumble dry low or preferably lay flat to dry to preserve shape and prevent heat damage.
• If ironing is necessary, use low heat on the reverse side or use a steamer to smooth wrinkles safely.
• Remove promptly from the dryer to minimize creasing. Fold for storage rather than hanging to avoid stretching the waistband.
• To remove pills, use a fabric shaver or gentle sweater comb. Spot-treat stains promptly with a mild detergent solution.
• Keep away from Velcro, rough surfaces and abrasive bags to reduce pulls and snags.
