How to measure

Use a soft tape measure and measure over thin clothing or undergarments. Stand relaxed and breathe normally — do not suck in. For best results measure in front of a mirror or ask a friend to help.

To measure your body

• Waist (for high rise): Measure around the narrowest part of your torso or at the point you plan to wear the waistband (for high-rise, that is usually above the natural waist). Keep the tape parallel to the floor.
• Hips: With feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips/buttocks. Keep the tape level all the way around.
• Inseam: Measure from the crotch seam (where the legs meet) straight down the inside of the leg to the hem at the desired length.
• Front rise: Measure from the top center of the front waistband down to the crotch seam.
• Thigh: Measure around the fullest part of the thigh about 1" (2–3 cm) below the crotch seam.
