How to measure the product

Measure the garment laid flat on a smooth surface. For all flat measurements, multiply by 2 to get the full circumference unless otherwise noted.

• Bust (chest): Measure straight across the front from seam to seam at the underarm level. Double this number for the full bust circumference (example: 16" laid flat = 32" bust / 40.6 cm = 81.2 cm).
• Waist: Measure across the narrowest part of the bodice (usually the ruched/smocked area). Double for full waist circumference.
• Hips: Measure across the fullest part of the skirt (typically 5–7" / 12–18 cm below the waist). Double for full hip circumference.
• Front length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (where the strap meets the bodice) straight down to the hem.
• Back length / center back: Measure from the center back neckline to hem if the back differs in shape.
• Strap length: Measure from the top front seam where the strap meets the bodice over the shoulder to the back seam. If straps are adjustable, measure the range.
• Smocked panel: Record the smocked section both relaxed (unstretched) and fully stretched — this shows the range of fit the smocking provides.

Use a flexible measuring tape, record in inches and centimeters, and compare garment measurements to a dress you already own for best fit guidance.

Care guide (to keep it lovely longer)

• Turn the dress inside out and machine wash cold on a gentle cycle or hand wash. Use a mild detergent; avoid bleach and fabric softeners (they can degrade elastic smocking).
• Place the dress in a mesh laundry bag for extra protection when machine washing.
• Do not wring or twist. Gently reshape while damp.
• Air dry: hang on a padded hanger or lay flat to dry. Avoid tumble drying—heat can damage elastic in the smocked back and affect ruching.
