How to measure
Measure the garment (laid flat) — best for accurate listings
- Chest (pit to pit): Button the shirt, lay it flat and smooth out wrinkles. Measure straight across the front about 1" (2.5 cm) below the armholes from seam to seam. Multiply that number by 2 to get the chest circumference. Example: 20" flat = 40" chest.
- Shoulder width: Measure across the back from seam to seam at the top of the shoulders (where the sleeve seam meets the shoulder seam).
