How to measure

Tools: soft tape measure, flat surface, mirror or helper.

Measuring your body (for best fit)

1. Bust / Chest: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape level and comfortable. Record the measurement in cm or in.
2. Waist: Measure around the narrowest point of your waist (natural waistline).
3. Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips while standing with feet together.
4. Shoulder width: Measure from one shoulder point (where the shoulder meets the arm) to the other across the back.
5. Sleeve length: With your arm relaxed at your side, measure from the shoulder point down to the wrist.
6. High point shoulder (HPS) to hem: For overall length, measure from the high point of the shoulder (next to the base of the neck) straight down to the hem.

Measuring the garment (lay flat)

1. Half chest (flat): Lay the cardigan flat and measure from armpit seam to armpit seam across the front. Multiply this by 2 to get the full chest circumference.
2. Length (HPS to hem): Measure from the high point of the shoulder to the bottom hem in a straight line.
3. Shoulder width: Measure across the back from one shoulder seam to the other.
4. Sleeve length: Measure from shoulder seam to cuff edge along the sleeve.
5. Cuff & hem width: Measure across and multiply by 2 to obtain the circumference.

Fit guidance: When comparing body to garment measurements allow ease (garment minus body): ~2–4 cm for a fitted look, 6–10 cm for a relaxed fit, 12+ cm for oversized. Expect a ±1–3 cm variance due to hand measuring and knit stretch.

Materials
