How to measure

Measure your body (to choose the best size)

1. Bust: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level and relaxed arms at sides.
2. Underbust: Measure snugly around the ribcage directly under the breasts.
3. Waist: Measure at the natural waist — the narrowest point between ribs and hips. Breathe normally.
4. Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks, usually 7–9" (18–23 cm) below the waist.
5. Torso / Desired Dress Length: Measure from the top of the shoulder (near the base of the neck) down to where you would like the hem to fall.
6. Tip: Measure over thin clothing, keep the tape parallel to the floor and note measurements in both inches and centimeters (1 in = 2.54 cm).

Measure the garment (lay flat)

1. Chest (pit-to-pit): Lay the dress flat. Measure across 1" (2.5 cm) below the armholes. Double that measurement to get full chest circumference.
2. Waist: Measure across the narrowest flat point of the dress and double for circumference.
3. Hip: Measure across the fullest part of the skirt portion (about 7–9" below the waist) and double.
4. Length: From the top of the shoulder seam to the hem, or from the center back neck to hem if you need back length.
5. Strap length: Measure the strap from attachment point to attachment point on both shortest and longest settings to understand adjustment range.
6. Fit allowance: For an A-line active dress allow 2–4" (5–10 cm) ease at hip and bust for comfortable movement; size up if you prefer extra room or layering under the dress.
