How to measure
To choose the best size, measure a shirt that fits you well laid flat or measure your body directly. Use a soft tape measure and record measurements in inches or centimeters (1 in = 2.54 cm).
- Chest (laid flat): Lay the shirt flat and measure straight across 1" (2.5 cm) below the armholes from one side seam to the other. Double that number to get the full chest circumference.
- Body/Chest (around body): Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms and across the shoulder blades. Keep the tape level and comfortable. For a relaxed fit add 1–2" (2.5–5 cm).
- Shoulder width: Measure from shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back for a shirt, or from one bone tip to the other across your back for body measurement.
- Sleeve length (short sleeve): Measure from the shoulder seam down to the sleeve hem. For body measurement, measure from the top of the shoulder (where a seam would sit) to the mid-bicep for short sleeves.
- Front length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (next to the collar) straight down to the hem.
- Hem width: Measure straight across the bottom hem from side to side. Double this for the full hem circumference.
Fit tip: If you are between sizes, consider how you want the shirt to fit—true-to-size for a regular fit, size up for a roomier look, or size down for a slimmer silhouette.
