How to measure
Two reliable methods: measure an existing sweatshirt (recommended) or measure your body.
Measuring a garment (lay flat)
- Chest: Lay the sweatshirt flat. Measure straight across from one side seam to the other, about 1 cm (½") below the armholes. Double that number to get the full chest circumference.
- Body length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (next to the collar) down to the hem.
- Sleeve length (shoulder seam): With sleeve flat, measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. Alternatively, measure from the center back of the neck to the cuff for total sleeve length.
- Shoulder width: Measure straight across the back from one shoulder seam to the other.
- Hem width: Measure across the bottom hem and double to get the circumference.
Measuring your body
- Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your chest with the tape level and snug but not tight.
- Waist: Measure at your natural waistline (where you normally wear pants).
- Sleeve: Slightly bend your elbow and measure from the center back of the neck, across the shoulder to the wrist.
Use a soft measuring tape. Record both cm and inches (1 in = 2.54 cm). If you’re between sizes, choose the larger size for a relaxed fit.
