How to measure (garment)
Measure the garment laid flat on a smooth surface with a soft tape measure. For best accuracy, compare these measurements to a t‑shirt you already own that fits the way you like.
- Chest (pit to pit): Lay the tee flat and smooth. Measure straight across from one armpit seam to the other, about 1 cm (½ in) below the armhole seam. Multiply this number by 2 to get the full chest circumference.
- Body length (HPS to hem): Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (next to the collar seam) straight down to the bottom hem.
- Shoulder width: Measure straight across the back from one shoulder seam to the other.
