How to measure

To get the best fit, measure either your body or a similar top that already fits you well. Use a soft tape measure, keep it level, and don’t pull it too tight. Record measurements in inches or centimetres.

Measure your body

1. Chest: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest/upper torso, under the arms and across the shoulder blades. Keep the tape level and relaxed.
2. Waist: Measure around your natural waist—where your torso creases—keeping the tape comfortably loose.
3. Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips (for overall garment balance).

5. Shoulder width: Measure straight across the back from one shoulder point to the other.
6. Body length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (near the collar) straight down to the hem.

Measure the garment (laid flat)

1. Lay the top flat on a smooth surface and smooth out wrinkles without stretching.
2. Chest (armpit to armpit): Measure straight across from one armpit seam to the other. Double this number to get full chest circumference.
3. Waist / Hem: Measure across the narrowest point (or bottom hem) and double for circumference.
4. Shoulder: Measure across the back from shoulder seam to shoulder seam.
5. Sleeve: Measure from shoulder seam to sleeve end.
6. Length: Measure from the top of shoulder next to the collar seam to the bottom hem.

Sizing guidance: For a classic/regular fit, choose a garment that has approximately 2–3 inches (5–8 cm) more than your body chest measurement. Fitted looks need 0–1" (0–2.5 cm) ease; relaxed fits 3–5"+ (8–13+ cm).
