How to measure

Measure your body

• Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist (where you normally wear your pants). Keep the tape snug but not tight. Record circumference in inches (cm).
• Hips: With feet together, measure around the fullest part of your hips/buttocks. Keep the tape level and parallel to the floor.
• Inseam: Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of your ankle along the inside of the leg. This gives the length you prefer inside the leg.
• Front rise: Measure from the top of the front waistband down to the crotch seam.
• Thigh: Measure 1 inch (2.5 cm) below the crotch seam across the leg; double the flat measurement for circumference.
• Hem/Leg opening: Measure straight across the finished hem and double to get the full circumference.
• Tip: Stand relaxed and breathe normally when measuring. 1 in = 2.54 cm.

Measure a similar garment (recommended for best fit)

• Lay a pair of pants that fits you well on a flat surface and smooth out wrinkles without stretching.
• Measure flat across waistband (then double for circumference), across fullest point of the hips, from top of waistband to hem for outseam, and from crotch seam to hem for inseam.
• Compare those garment measurements to the product’s size chart. Garment measurements are more reliable than body measurements when choosing size.

• For a close/sleek fit: allow 0–1 in (0–2.5 cm) ease at the waist/hips.
