How to Measure Your Necklace

• Pendant size
  • Height: Measure from the top of the bail (loop) to the tip of the heart with a ruler or calipers.
  • Width: Measure across the widest part of the heart.
  • Stone view: For a heart-cut stone, measure from the “cleft” (top dip) to the point for height, and across the widest lobes for width.
• Chain length
  • Lay the chain flat and measure end-to-end including the clasp.
  • If there is an extender, measure the main chain and the extender separately (e.g., 16 in + 2 in).
