How to measure

Use a soft measuring tape and measure over light clothing or underwear. Keep the tape parallel to the floor and relaxed but snug.

To measure your body (to choose the right size)

• Bust / Chest: Measure around the fullest part of the chest, under the arms, keeping the tape horizontal.
• Shoulder-to-wrist (recommended for drop-shoulder styles): Measure from the centre back base of the neck, along the shoulder and down the outer arm to the wrist bone. This accounts for the lower seam of drop-shoulder garments.
• Body length: Measure from the high point of the shoulder (or centre back of the neck) down to where you want the hem to sit.
• Hip / Hem circumference: Measure around the fullest part of the hips or where the cardigan will sit.

To measure the garment (flat-lay)

Lay the cardigan flat on a smooth surface and smooth out wrinkles without stretching.

• Chest (flat): Measure 1" (2.5 cm) below the armholes from side seam to side seam; multiply by 2 for full circumference.
• Centre back length: Measure from the centre back neck seam down to the hem.
• Sleeve length: For consistency on drop shoulders, measure from the centre back of the neck along the shoulder to the cuff. Alternatively, measure from the sleeve seam to the cuff.
• Shoulder width: Measure seam-to-seam across the back; note the seam sits lower on a drop-shoulder style.
• Hem width: Measure across the bottom hem flat and multiply by 2.
