How to measure

Use a soft measuring tape. Wear a thin, unpadded bra or light clothing, stand relaxed with arms at your sides, and keep the tape parallel to the floor. Record measurements in inches or centimeters (1 in = 2.54 cm).

Measure your body (to choose the best size)

1. Bust / Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your bust, across the nipples and around the back. Keep tape level and snug but not tight.
2. Underbust (ribcage): Measure directly under the breasts where the band of a bra sits.
3. Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your torso (natural waist).
4. Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips/seat, usually 7–9 inches (18–23 cm) below the waist—keep tape level.
5. Torso / Front length (HPS to hem): Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (near the base of the neck; HPS) down to the hem where you want the tank to fall. Useful if you are concerned about top length.
6. Shoulder width: Measure across the back from the left shoulder bone to the right shoulder bone if you want to confirm strap fit.

Measure a similar-fitting garment (flat) — how we usually list sizes

1. Lay the tank flat on a smooth surface and smooth out wrinkles (do not stretch).
2. Bust (flat): Measure across the front 1 inch (2.5 cm) below the armhole from side seam to side seam. Multiply this number by 2 to get the full circumference.
3. Waist (flat): Measure across the narrowest point, then multiply by 2.
4. Hem (flat): Measure across bottom edge, then multiply by 2 for circumference.
5. Front length: From HPS (highest point of shoulder) straight down to hem.
6. Strap width & armhole opening: Measure the strap at its widest point; measure armhole from underarm seam up to strap seam and double if needed for circumference.

Example: If the flat bust measurement is 17 in → full bust circumference = 34 in (86.4 cm). When in doubt: compare your body bust measurement to the garment circumference and allow for the amount of ease (close-fitting vs relaxed) you prefer.
