How to measure

Use a flexible cloth measuring tape. Measure yourself wearing underwear or thin garments and stand relaxed. For the most accurate fit, compare your measurements to a favorite pair of shorts laid flat (see "Measure the garment" below).

Measure your body

1. Waist (where the shorts sit): Wrap the tape around your natural waist or where you want the waistband to sit. Keep the tape snug but not tight. For elastic-waist shorts, measure both at your natural waist and at hip level if you prefer a low rise.
2. Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips/butt, with feet together.
3. Thigh: Measure around the widest part of your upper thigh (about 1"–2" below the crotch).
4. Inseam (desired length): Measure from the top of your inner thigh down to where you want the hem to sit.
5. Front rise: Measure from the crotch seam up to the top of the waistband where the shorts will sit.

Measure the garment (how we measure our shorts)

1. Lay the shorts flat: Smooth out wrinkles and align seams.
2. Waist (flat): Measure straight across the waistband at rest. Double this number for the flat-to-circumference waist measurement. For elastic waists, also gently stretch the waistband and measure across when stretched, then double to get the stretched circumference.
3. Hips: Measure straight across the shorts 1"–2" below the crotch seam and double the number.
4. Inseam: Measure from the crotch seam along the inner leg seam to the hem.
5. Front rise: Measure from the crotch seam up to the top of the waistband (measured on the front).
6. Thigh: Measure straight across the leg 1" below the crotch seam and double for circumference.

Tip: Because of elasticity, expect the waist measurement to vary between "relaxed" and "stretched." If you fall between sizes, choose based on how you like the waistband to fit (snug vs. relaxed).

Care Guide (to keep it lovely longer)

• Machine wash cold with similar colors on a gentle cycle. Use a mild detergent.
• Turn shorts inside out before washing to protect trims and any reflective detailing.
• Avoid bleach and fabric softeners — softeners can reduce moisture-wicking and breathability.
• Tumble dry low or, for best longevity, hang or lay flat to dry. Remove promptly from the dryer to reduce wrinkling.

• Rinse promptly after exposure to chlorine or saltwater to preserve elastane and color.

• Store folded in a cool, dry place. Avoid prolonged compression of elastic bands to maintain stretch.
