How to measure

Use these simple steps to measure the cardigan itself and to measure your body so you can choose the best size.

Measure the garment (lay flat)

1. Chest (front): Button the cardigan and lay it flat. Measure across the front from one underarm seam to the other. Multiply that number by two for the full chest circumference.
2. Shoulder width: Measure straight across the back from shoulder seam to shoulder seam.
3. Sleeve length: Measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. For an overall sleeve length measure from the center back neck to the cuff.
4. Total length: From the highest point of the shoulder (next to the collar) straight down to the hem.
5. Hem width: Measure straight across the bottom hem and double that number for circumference.

Measure your body

1. Bust/Chest: Measure around the fullest part, keeping the tape level and comfortable (not tight).
2. Waist: Around the natural waistline.
3. Hips: Around the fullest part of the hips.
4. Arm length: From the shoulder tip to the wrist while the arm is relaxed (if you need sleeve fit).

Fit guidance: For a fitted look allow about 1–2" (2.5–5 cm) positive ease; for a relaxed fit allow 3–6" (7.5–15 cm); for an oversized fit allow 6" (15 cm) or more. If you’re between sizes, size up for layering or a roomier fit.
