How to measure

Measure the cardigan (lay flat)

1. Place the cardigan buttoned on a flat, hard surface and smooth out wrinkles without stretching the fabric.
2. Chest (laid flat): measure straight across 1 inch (≈2.5 cm) below the armhole from side seam to side seam. Double that number to get the full chest/bust circumference.
3. Shoulder width: measure across the back from shoulder seam to shoulder seam.
4. Sleeve length: measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff. For total sleeve length from center back, measure from the centre back neck point along the shoulder to the cuff.
5. Back length: measure from the highest point of the shoulder (where the neckline meets the shoulder) down to the hem.
6. Hem width: measure across the bottom hem from side to side and double for the circumference.
7. Tip: use a soft measuring tape, keep measurements flat and unstretched, and round to the nearest 0.5 cm (¼ inch). Compare these numbers to a similar cardigan you already own for best fit guidance.

Measure your body (to choose the right size)

• Bust: wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust, keeping it level and comfortable.
• Waist: measure around your natural waistline (narrowest point).
• Hips: measure around the fullest part of your hips/seat.
• Sleeve length: measure from the shoulder bone to the wrist with your arm slightly bent.
• For a comfortable fit, allow 2–6 cm (1–2 inches) of ease in the bust measurement depending on how relaxed you want the fit to be.
