How to measure

Use a flexible tape measure. Measure on bare skin or over lightweight clothing for best accuracy.

Measure your body

• Waist: Wrap the tape around the narrowest part of your torso (natural waist). Keep it snug but not tight.
• Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks.
• Inseam: Measure from the top of the inner thigh at the crotch down to where you want the jogger to end (ankle bone for a standard length).
• Thigh: Measure around the fullest part of the thigh, about 1" (2.5 cm) below the crotch seam.
• Front rise: Measure from the crotch seam up to the top of the waistband.
• Total length: Measure from the top of the waistband to the hem.

Measure a garment (recommended)

Lay the joggers flat on a hard surface and smooth out wrinkles. Measure and then double flat measurements where noted.

• Waist (flat): Measure across the waistband without stretching, then multiply by 2. Also measure fully stretched to find elastic range.
• Hips (flat): Measure across about 1" (2.5 cm) below the crotch seam, then multiply by 2.
• Inseam: Measure from the crotch seam along the inner leg to the hem.
• Front rise: Measure from the crotch seam to the top of the waistband.
• Thigh (flat): Measure across 1" (2.5 cm) below the crotch, then multiply by 2.
• Total length: Measure from the top of the waistband to the hem.

Tip: Compare garment measurements to your body measurements. If you prefer more room, add 1–2" (2.5–5 cm) to hip and thigh measurements.
