How to measure

For consistent, shopper-friendly measurements we take garment dimensions with the top buttoned and laid flat. Double any flat measurement to get the full circumference.

Measuring the garment (laid flat)

1. Chest / Bust: Button the top. Measure straight across the chest 1" (2.5 cm) below the armholes from side seam to side seam. Double that number to get the full chest circumference.
2. Shoulder width: Measure from shoulder seam to shoulder seam across the back.
3. Sleeve length: From the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff along the outer edge. For drop shoulders, measure from the highest shoulder point to cuff.
4. Total length: From the highest point of the shoulder at the neckline (HPS) straight down to the hem.
5. Hem width: Measure across the bottom hem and double to get full hem circumference.
6. Armhole: Measure across the armhole opening and double for circumference.
7. Collar / neck opening: Measure around the neckline if relevant (buttoned or unbuttoned depending on product display).

Measuring your body (to choose the best size)

• Bust / Chest: Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your bust, under the arms and across the shoulder blades. Keep the tape parallel to the floor.
• Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waistline.
• Hips: Measure around the fullest part of the hips.
• Sleeve length for fit: Measure from the shoulder bone (where a shoulder seam would sit) to the wrist with the arm slightly bent.
• Compare your body measurements to our garment measurements and allow ease: ~2–4" (5–10 cm) extra for a relaxed fit, 0–2" (0–5 cm) for a closer fit.

Conversion: 1 in = 2.54 cm. Example: a flat chest measurement of 19" = 38" circumference ≈ 96.5 cm.
