How to measure (product)

Measure the garment laid flat on a smooth surface. Do not stretch the fabric. Record measurements in centimetres (cm) and inches (in). When a measurement is taken flat, multiply by 2 to get the full circumference.

• Waist (flat): Measure straight across the top edge of the waistband from left to right. Multiply by 2 for the waist circumference.
• Hip (flat): Measure across the fullest part of the seat. For most pants this is about 6–8 cm (2½–3 in) below the crotch seam. Multiply by 2 for full hip circumference.
• Inseam: Measure from the crotch seam down the inside leg to the hem.
• Outseam (length): Measure from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the hem along the outside leg.
• Front rise: Measure from the crotch seam up to the top of the front waistband.
• Back rise: Measure from the crotch seam up to the top of the back waistband.
• Thigh (flat): Measure across the leg 2–3 cm (about 1 in) below the crotch seam. Multiply by 2 for circumference.
• Hem (leg opening, flat): Measure across the bottom edge of one leg. Multiply by 2 for the full hem circumference.

Quick fit guidance: for a slim fit allow 2–4 cm (0.8–1.6 in) of ease at the hip/waist; for a relaxed fit allow 5–10 cm (2–4 in). If comparing to your body measurements, measure over the undergarments you plan to wear with the pants.

• Care considerations: the ribbed surface (nap) may show wear differently than smooth fabrics—avoid abrasive contact and high heat to preserve texture and color.

Care Guide (to keep it lovely longer)

• Turn pants inside out before washing to protect the ribbed surface and two-tone finish.
• Machine wash cold or lukewarm (30°C / 86°F) on a gentle cycle, or hand wash. Use a mild detergent formulated for colored fabrics.
• Wash with similar colors. For the first wash, wash separately or with color-catch sheets to prevent any potential dye transfer.
• Avoid bleach and prolonged soaking. Do not use fabric softener on elasticized areas—fabric softener can reduce elasticity over time.
• Gently reshape while damp and air dry flat or hang to dry. Avoid tumble drying; heat can damage elastane and flatten the ribbed nap.
• If ironing is needed, turn garment inside out and iron on low heat. Avoid pressing directly on the ribbed face—use a pressing cloth or steam lightly from the reverse side.
• To revive nap: gently brush with a soft clothes brush in the direction of the ribs, or use steam from a short distance to lift fibers.
• Store folded or hung in a cool, dry place away from prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading. Avoid contact with abrasive surfaces (bags, rough belts) to minimize pilling and wear.
