How to measure
Lay the pants flat on a smooth surface and smooth out any folds without stretching the fabric. Measure with a flexible tape measure. For any measurement marked “(flat)” multiply by 2 to get the full circumference.
- Waist (flat): Measure straight across the waistband from seam to seam while the band is closed. Multiply by 2 for the waist circumference.
- Hip (flat): Measure across the fullest part of the seat (approximately 15–20 cm / 6–8" below the waistband). Multiply by 2 for hip circumference.
- Front rise: Measure from the top of the waistband at the center front down to the crotch seam.
- Inseam: Measure from the crotch seam down the inside leg to the bottom of the hem.
- Outseam / Total length: Measure from the top of the waistband (side or center) down the outside leg to the hem.
- Thigh (flat): Measure across the leg 2–3 cm / ~1" below the crotch seam. Multiply by 2 for full thigh circumference.
- Hem / leg opening (flat): Measure across the hem and double for the circumference.
