How to measure

Use a flexible measuring tape and a flat, even surface. Measure the garment laid flat (not stretched) and multiply flat measurements across by 2 to get circumferences.

1. Waist (flat): Fasten the waistband and lay the pants flat. Measure straight across the top of the waistband from left to right. Multiply by 2 for the waist circumference.
   Example: flat = 36 cm → waist = 72 cm (≈ 28.3").
2. Hips (flat): Measure across the fullest part of the seat/hip area (usually 15–20 cm / 6–8" down from the waistband). Multiply by 2 for hip circumference.
3. Front rise: Measure from the top center of the front waistband down the front to the crotch seam.
4. Back rise: Measure from the top center of the back waistband down to the center back crotch seam.
5. Inseam: Measure from the crotch seam straight down the inside leg to the hem.
6. Thigh: Measure across the leg 2.5 cm (1") below the crotch seam, then multiply by 2.
7. Hem (leg opening): Measure straight across the bottom hem.
8. Total length (outseam): Measure from the top of the waistband down the outside leg seam to the hem.

Notes: record both cm and inches (1 in = 2.54 cm). For stretch fabrics allow ±1–2 cm tolerance. If you want a roomier fit, compare the garment measurements to your body measurements and size up if needed.

Each fibre purpose: cotton = comfort and breathability; polyester = strength, colour retention and reduced shrinkage; elastane = flexibility and a close skinny fit. Always check the sewn care label on the garment for the exact composition for your pair.
